WHY WE CREATED THE BOX-KAT MOUSE BARRIER

After 25 years of fighting a losing battle against the persistent threat of mice, Tom Sharp decided to solve the problem himself. His first prototype for a flexible mouse barrier was designed in early 2017. Our original system required screws to secure each panel — but now, Box-Kat 2.0 comes equipped with push-in clips that snap into place in seconds. No tools needed. This small change saves you time and hassle during setup, making rodent prevention a breeze!

STURDIER ACRYLIC BRACES FOR

INCREASED PANEL STABILITY

The original brace design worked — but we wanted better. Version 2.0 features thicker, more rigid acrylic braces with a new L-shaped base that makes anchoring easier than ever. Just place a cinder block, paving stone, or other weight on the inner leg of each brace, and your Box-Kat will stay securely in place — even in winds up to 40 mph. It’s a stronger, more stable setup you can count on.
