IT STARTED WITH A SIMPLE FRUSTRATION
After more than 25 years of dealing with rodent problems around stored vehicles, Tom Sharp grew frustrated with temporary fixes that never seemed to fully solve the issue. Sprays faded, repellents needed constant replacement, and expensive damage continued to happen year after year.
Then the problem became impossible to ignore. After mice chewed through wiring in one of Tom’s vehicles, an electrical fire caused severe damage to the car — reinforcing just how costly and dangerous rodent damage could become.
In early 2017, Tom began developing a different kind of solution — not another deterrent, but a physical barrier designed to help stop mice from ever reaching vulnerable areas of the vehicle in the first place. What started as a simple prototype eventually became Box-Kat: the only patented mouse barrier of its kind.
Today, Box-Kat has helped thousands of vehicle owners protect their cars, RVs, vans, campers, and collector vehicles from mice and small rodent damage through a simpler, more preventative approach to rodent protection.
